Hi, I am looking to replace a Storevault S550 NAS. It has a total of 3 TB of usable space that is about used up. I have been looking at a StoneFly IP SAN device and wondering if anyone has any experience with Stone Flys hardware. Or if you have experience with other NAS devices, I would be interested in hearing about that as well. Thanks,

Lane

I would first suggest you determine your current and future needs and assess whether you need a NAS or a SAN. Here is a good article that I feel reflects a good decision process (IMO).

I'm a Falconstor fan personally, but even with our K-12 pricing, it's expensive stuff.
