Hi all,

I have a server that has managed to pick up 2 IP address. .43 (which is what it really should be) and .96 as shown in DNS.

Can I just (and is it enough) delete the A record? Or are there other places I should look? DNS scavenging is turned on, and has been for over a year.

Thanks!

Just remove the one you don't like.

An ipconfig /all should show the culprit. If not... things get interesting :=)

If I run in on the server that should be the correct computer/ IP it shows the .43 which it should I've no idea where/how it's getting the .96 from which is inside the DHCP pool.

The DHCP one? I'd wait until after hours, unless you don't care about interrupting current network connections.
