Wish I was there in Orlando this week but work is crazy busy.

Today will be the first time that MSFT folks will be presenting most of the WS2012 and Win8 stuff in detail and in public. I can tell you, that even the Hyper-V/clustering/networking/storage stuff at level 300/400 would fill 10 days of sessions. That's what I've been focusing on since Feb.

I've not even had time to look at security, AD, Group Policy, RDS, VPN/DirectAccess, print, WDS, etc.

This is a HUGE release by MSFT. And that makes TechEd essential viewing if you're not there. The keynote will be live in just under 2 hours. I believe the sessions will be hosted online 2 days after the fact.

With all the new products coming out of Microsoft this year, I wish I could be down at TechEd. Hope everyone has a great time (and hope that this is the start of my Microsoft shares going through the roof!!)

It sounds like Jeff Woolsey nailed it yesterday. There is a lot of chatter about Hyper-V overnight.

It's no longer about the "who VM", it's really about who's got the better tools to support the VM's. Hyper-V, Xen, VMWare, or your favorite. My thinking is it could be anyone, third party or someone VMware or MS can buy!
