Hi all. I've been having problems for the last few months with my Remote Desktop Connection sessions crashing for some unknown reason. This does not affect my workstation, just the RDC session itself. I use RDC to monitor my servers from my workstation. There are 3 of them that I more or less monitor all the time. I can always restart the session, picking up where I left off at, but it gets annoying when it happens. The servers are both 2003 and 2008 R2. It annoyed me to the point that I rebuilt my system from scratch, with no change - RDC still crashes.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what was your solution. I've done web searches with nothing like my problem (most of them were system lockups or system crashes).
Also, though it does not happen that often, explorer and outlook will crash also, but they restart on their own.
I've had issues in the past where RDC sessions disconnect (not because of network issues) that were resolved by disabled in all the redirected stuff (clipboard, remote drives, sound, etc.)
