I'm currently working on an issue with DHCP and Apple products (iPads, iPhones, AppleTVs, etc..) and am looking into DHCP option 119. The problem is, option 119 isn't available in 2008. Does anyone know if it's possible to get option 119 into 2008? If so, what steps should I take?
If you search for DHCP Option 119 & Domain Suffix you will see MANY Lync topics using Domain Suffix Search that may help you.
Note this in the comments section Below -
Incorrect documentation for option 119 Windows' DHCP server seems to send the value for option 119 as-is to the client. Therefore, the value presented in this documentation ("contoso.com;dev.contoso.com;corp.microsoft.com") is incorrect: it's not compliant with the format described in RFC 3397 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc3397.html). Non-Windows DHCP clients which support DHCP Domain Search (option 119) reject this value and, often, the whole DHCP lease.
The following article confirms this behaviour and proposes a solution:
Thank you for the replies. I have an initial hurdle and that is being able to get the option to appear in DHCP running on Server 2008 core enterprise x64 sp1. I have seen documentation on how to add it to 2000 and 2003, but nothing on 2008. Any ideas?

The above link I posted will allow you add the option to the DHCP server. http://url.ie/e4q0
Where you see 2000 or 2003, substitute 2008
