Hello,

I have a web ip camera that requires a user name and password to connect to its internal server.

I would like to create a batch file to open internet explorer in a new window with web address and then send user name and password to login form and press OK.

It would act a lot like a shortcut with automatic login.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Any ideas on how?

Thanks - SDL

For a thing like that I would look at AutoIT or AutoHotkey.. What they can do is start an application in your case IE, and then just send keystrokes..

Something like this in AutoIT

$url = "www.google.com"
Run(@Comspec & " /c start " & $url)
Sleep(4000)
Send("Your username could go here")
Send("{TAB}")
Send("PassWord")
Send("{Enter}")

Where you of course have to tab to the right fields, type in the right URL etc etc
