Posted - 02/29/2012 : 3:30:34 PM Hi All,
I am trying to create a domain cert for my SCCM 2007 R3 server which is Win2K8R2 Std with IIS 7.5. The CA for the domain is a Win2K3 Std server. Everytime I try the request process in the IIS server I get this error:
CCertRequest::Submit: The parameter is incorrect. 0x80070057 (WIN32:87)
I have done a ton of searching, but I am not finding any answers. I have issued a domain cert to another Win2K8R2 Std server in the domain from the same CA, so I know it is working. So I am at a loss.

Posted - 03/12/2012 : 4:16:32 PM No takers huh! Well, I resolved the issue in a round about way. Instead of doing a domain cert, I ran a request for a cert and then manually went to the Cert server and generated a cert. I then finished the cert request and low and behold it worked. I still don't know what the error is about, but I found a work around.
