I have a bit of a problem.
We have an old 2003 Server that we inherited when we bought another company.
It is now a virtual, but I don't think that matters.
Anyways, my account is a Domain Admin, and Domain Admins are in the local Administrators group on the server.
I even put my user account in the local admins group just for fun.
Also, I put those in the Backup Operator group.
But, even so, whenever I try to restore a file to it, or do other things, it tells me I do not have administrative rights to the server.
We have tried everything we can think of, but no luck.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks, or heard of this problem before?

Thanks!

Have the builtin groups been renamed, hiding the real groups?
